One of them tells the story of prophet Suleiman and how he was merciful to an anthill and the valley of ants looking for food.
Prophet Suleiman is known to be able to understand the language of all animals.
This is what compassion is for me: no one is too small. Everyone deserves to be heard.
Even ants have communities like us. They have a great role to play in our environment.
Here are some facts:
- Tunneling ants turn over the same amount of soil as earthworms, and doing so, they aerate the soil as well as redistribute nutrients throughout your garden.
- Ants are scavengers so clean up your yard of dead insects and grains lying around
- Ants protect flowers from natural enemies by fighting them. They take the sap from the stem, not the nectar.
- Ants farm caterpillars for the honeydew they produce and protect the caterpillars until maturity.
- Ants also are part of the essential food web.
-Etc.
