Imagine a world where people listen and try to put themselves in your shoes.
Imagine a world that care about you.
That's a world of compassion.
Maybe you think you are alone and no one cares.
Maybe you think you have no friend.
Someone has to care, somewhere.
Be compassionate toward them.
They will be more compassionate toward you.
Make no mistake. Compassion is everywhere around you. It is in you even if you never cease to develop it.
It makes the source of great stories too.
Think of Katniss taking her sister's place in the Hunger Games.
Charlotte's Web is one of the most compassionate stories for children. Remember how Fern saves Wilbur from being killed and how a spider named Charlotte takes over the saving.
Compassion is not something that belongs to a religion, or to humans, or a group of people, or to a profession.
It is not reserved to only some humans, or some animals, or some situations.
Compassion touches everyone of us.
It is all around us.
It is for all of us without distinction.
